Ministries
Worship
On Sunday mornings, we gather at 103 Martin St at 10:00am for our worship service until 12:15. This is a time for us to gather corporately to sing songs of worship to God, pray together and read the Bible. We also hear God’s Word preached, explained and applied. After a short break, we have a follow-up time of practical Bible teaching where you can participate in discussion about the lessons from the sermon. A nursery is available throughout the service. Age-appropriate worship and learning sessions for children and teens begin part-way through the service.
Events and Programs
The dates and times of these ministries can vary (especially during this COVID-19 pandemic). Please check the Events page or subscribe to our email newsletter for upcoming events.
Sunday Training and Prayer
On Sunday evenings, we hold a variety of sessions that are typically focused on training, prayer, or discussion of Bible truth. While the sessions are open to everyone, some training may be targeted to needs of specific groups, such as those learning to teach others. Please check the events page for what's happening this week.
GriefShare
GriefShare is a s 13-week small group grief recover program meeting on Tuesday evenings. If you or someone you know is dealing with loss, this discussion group and the video-based teaching it provides can help with the difficult journey of grief.
Mid-Week Bible Study and Prayer
Our mid-week Bible study and prayer time is held on Thursday evenings year-round.
Children's Ministries
In addition to the age-appropriate worship and teaching times on Sundays, our Kids 4 Truth program meets on Thursday evenings during the school year. Kids 4 Truth is designed to help children understand the truth of God’s Word. We play games, do crafts, hear a Bible Truth lesson, and work on memorizing helpful Bible verses. Ages 4-12 are welcome. Parents and teen siblings are welcome to stay for the Bible study and prayer time that meets simultaneously.
We also hold a 5-day Vacation Bible School each summer.
Teens and Young Adults
Gatherings of teens (Grades 7-12) and of young adults (up to age 30) often occur on Friday evenings. The focus is on discussion of how to apply the Word of God to the challenges that teens and young adults face.
Women to Women Ministry
Our ladies’ group meets together once a month at the church for a time of breakfast, fellowship, testimonies and learning from God’s Word. The group engages in discussions on a particular book or topic, hold annual banquets and retreats, and minister to those who are in need.
Men's Breakfast
Graceway hosts a men’s breakfast each month. The goal of the men’s ministry is to actively pursue men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training them in Christlikeness. All men are welcome.
Leadership Development
Graceway’s leadership development group meets on average twice a month for a time of teaching and discussion. The purpose of the leadership development group is threefold:
- To disciple and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their families.
- To equip men to be spiritual leaders at Graceway.
- To equip men for personal ministry in evangelism, discipleship, and counseling, laying a foundation for a biblical culture of ministry at Graceway.
Worldwide Missions
Believing that God’s plan of evangelism is for “all nations”, Graceway has an active missionary emphasis. Through supporting, visiting and praying for missionaries, various missions projects and an annual Missions Conference, our Church is participating in missions, so that “all nations” might hear the great news of God’s free gift of eternal life.
